The cast also includes Priya Marathe, Prarthana Behere, Parag Tyagi, Swati Anand, Savita Prabhune, Kishori Govind, Pankaj Vishnu and Smita Oak star in the serial set in Dombivali, a suburb of Mumbai. The show is produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms.
The eldest daughter of the Karanjkar family, Archana (Ankita Lokhande) had to leave school for the well-being of her family. The attempt of her parents to find a suitable groom for her also ends in a mess when she marries Manav (Sushant Singh Rajput), a mechanic by profession.
