1st Quarterfinal Match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. 1992 Cricket World Cup Champion Pakistan will face the three time world cup winner West Indies on 1st Quarterfinal Match at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

If we look at history of World Cups, it was the World Cup of 1996 when Quarter Finals were used as a second round, accidentally that Quarter Final between Pakistan and India will never be memorable for Pakistan’s fans for obvious reasons. But, from then on there were Super Sixes and Super Eights in World Cups from 1999 to 2003 and then in 2007 as well.


Pakistan are a team which can surprise anybody and it will be interesting to see how they come up against West indies who are very similar in style and predictability.
